The initial plot, as presented in the trailer, seemed to be how Paul Walter Hauser&#8217;s character invented a new kind of condom, and he and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joblo.com\/tag\/mark-wahlberg\/\">Mark Wahlberg<\/a> hit the international stage to promote it. However, when things turn chaotic, the duo must now go on the run in Brazil and they encounter zany situations during their refuge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-skinny-on-balls-up\"><em>The skinny on Balls Up<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Wahlberg and Hauser are joined by a cast that includes Benjamin Bratt, Eva De Dominici, Daniela Melchior with Molly Shannon, Sacha Baron Cohen and Eric Andr\u00e9. Peter Farrelly directs from a script by <em>Deadpool<\/em> scribes Paul Wernick &amp; Rhett Reese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The official synopsis reads, <br><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">&#8220;In this raunchy, over-the-top comedy, marketing executives Brad (Mark Wahlberg) and Elijah (Paul Walter Hauser) go &#8216;balls out&#8217; and pitch a bold full\u2011coverage condom sponsorship with the World Cup. After their drunken celebration in Brazil sparks a global scandal, they must outrun furious fans, criminals, and power-hungry officials to salvage their careers and make it home alive.&#8221;<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The producers on the film include the new owner of Paramount and Warner Bros., David Ellison, as well as Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Andrew Muscato, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. The movie is a co-production of Amazon MGM Studios and Skydance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Balls Up<\/em> hits Prime Video on <strong>April 15<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-also-from-peter-farrelly\"><em>Also from Peter Farrelly<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As this trailer releases, Peter Farrelly is currently at work filming <em>I Play Rocky<\/em>, which is a movie about the making of the classic Sylvester Stallone 1976 film, which catapulted him into super stardom and established a cultural icon. Farrelly directs from a script by Peter Gamble (<em>Trenches<\/em>).&nbsp;The film&nbsp;<mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">\u201ctells the true story of an unknown actor with an unshakable belief that he wasn\u2019t just meant to write&nbsp;<em>Rocky<\/em>&nbsp;\u2014 he was meant to<em>&nbsp;be<\/em>&nbsp;Rocky Balboa. Told no at every turn, Stallone bets everything on himself, holding the line on playing the lead against seemingly impossible odds. The result is the ultimate underdog story behind the ultimate underdog movie.\u201c<\/mark><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
