Netflix has just dropped the new trailer for the anticipated final chapter for Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.

The Peaky Blinders movie will bring back the show’s star, Cillian Murphy. Rebecca Ferguson will be starring opposite Murphy in the movie, along with Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Stephen Graham and Jay Lycurgo. Other series alums in the cast will include Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee and Ian Peck. Tom Harper (Heart of Stone) has directed the Peaky Blinders movie for Netflix, marking his return to the franchise. He previously directed the last three episodes of the first season. Series creator Steven Knight has written the screenplay, and production is expected to kick off in Digbeth, England, later this year. Knight is co-producing alongside Murphy, Caryn Mandabach, and Guy Heeley. Executive producers include Harper, David Kosse, Jamie Glazebrook, Andrew Warren, and David Mason.

Here’s the plot: Birmingham, 1940. Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground. By order of the Peaky Blinders…

Netflix will be screening the movie in theaters starting on March 6, 2026. Then, they plan to move it to their streaming service not long after, starting on March 20, 2026.

Fear not, Peaky Blinders fans. Knight has talked about this movie as the end of an era, but not the end of the world of the show. Although the movie will be a conclusion of sorts, Netflix and BBC have also announced that there will be a yet-to-be-named sequel show for Peaky Blinders, which will feature a new generation of Shelbys. According to Netflix, the series will be two seasons and “each featuring 6 x 60’ episodes, which will be shot at Digbeth Loc. Studios, Birmingham. Both series will be produced by Kudos (SAS Rogue Heroes, House of Guinness, Grantchester) and Garrison Drama (Peaky Blinders Series 1-6, The Peaky Blinders Film). The timeline of the sequel will follow on from the eagerly anticipated Peaky Blinders’ feature film.”
