Interviews: Christa Miller, Ted McGinley, and the cast of Shrinking discuss Season 3

Shrinking (red our Season 3 review here) is one of the best series on television. It may not have the grand scale of Game of Thrones or the weight of a Marvel Studios series, but Shrinking carries the critical acclaim ofTed Lasso co-creator Bill Lawrence, writer Brett Goldstein, and star Jason Segel, who co-created this hilarious and heartfelt series about therapists and their patients. After two amazing seasons, Shrinking took a year off before returning with this brand-new season, featuring guests including Michael J. Fox, Jeff Daniels, Candice Bergen, and more.

Starring multi-award winner Harrison Ford, along with acclaimed performances from stars Christa Miller, Emmy Award nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Emmy nominee Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley. Shrinking follows a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.

I talked with the cast of Shrinking about the new season. Jessica Williams discussed the power of the scripts and how much she has learned from portraying her character. Ted McGinley talked about the ease of working with every member of the cast and how easy it was to act opposite anyone in the ensemble. Christa Miller discussed the fun of playing Liz compared to other roles in her career, as well as her experience serving as the series’ music supervisor. Shrinking season three premieres on January 28th on AppleTV.
